The Theme

This is an interesting experiment. Trying to come up with a theme...

O.K. There it is. The Dutch Oven. Because it is versatile. You can put just about anything inside of it. And that's what I plan on doing: a little food, a little film and TV, and definitely some hooligan-level soccer rants.

Ironically, the first post is not ironic at all, but about an actual Dutch Oven.

In pushing myself for a topic, I realized the value of my Cast Iron Enamel Dutch Oven. Last night I decided to make Chili. I love making Chili and soup because you can literally throw anything in your refrigerator into it. Whether it's vegetables, meat, spices; even not so fresh fare (be careful if it gets "puffy" though - if you watch the show Hoarders on A&E you know what I mean).
